ImpressCMS Persistable Framework: Rapid Modules Development

I am currently attending the 7th edition of the PHP Quebec Conference in Montreal and I am very honored to be able to do a talk there about our ImpressCMS Persistable Framework.

This talk will give a rapid historic background of ImpressCMS open source Community Management System and will explain how it is amazingly easy to develop new modules using imBuilding and the ImpressCMS Persistable Framework.

I have made the slides I'll be using available on SlideShare and I encourage you to look it up as it will give you a good idea of what you can do with imBuilding and IPF! You can find the slideshow here.

Hopefully, we will find more time very soon to provide more documentation about this and also do live training to people interested.

As usual, feedback is always welcome !

Cheers !

Definitely it is great. I was playing with imBuilding and will become the perfect tool for module development.

I can not wait for the docs...

IPF is very good and this module seems to be a powerful tool for module developers and beginners. Congratulations and thanks for teaching us!

Re: ImpressCMS Persistable Framework: Rapid Modules Devel...
Im creating a module using the imBuilding to manage a doctor's office. The imbuilding create all the structure of files, object classes and templates I need in the module anf after I could start to develop and improve the code.

The module isn't so complicated and difficult to develop but it is almost done with only 6-8 hours of work. Without the IPF and imBuilding i can't made the half in this same time.

I am sure that this will greatly increase the amount of developers, modules and users for our project.

Congratulations Marc, ImpressCMS and all the people involved here.

Cheers
