This year, Skenow and I will be representing ImpressCMS at CMSExpo 2012 in Chicago. We've signed up as a silver sponsor, which gives us the use of a booth, entry for both of us to the Expo (quite important) and a number of marketing opportunities.Daniel has been working with us to get a nice and consistent layout for all the communication (print, screen, website advertising), which is a very important first step.
As part of our silver sponsor package we can add an item to the welcome package that will be distributed to all attendees. Of the options that we have, the wrist band seems to be a good option, also when you take in account the cost and the budget we still have.
Just adding a wrist band with a link to our site into that welcome pack is quite dull
To add a bit of adventure, we were thinking of organising a cool online treasure hunt that will introduce people to all the different aspects of ImpressCMS is a fun and engaging way. This will mean that people will be sent all around the different sites, and we need those to be on their best.
Where do you come in?
We need to have the different sites on their best. We need people to help enhance the documentation (API and other), enhance the information that is posted on the site, revise the documentation on the wiki site, while removing the documentation that isn't relevant any more.
Do you have an idea that will enhance the websites? Let us know.
Do you want to help working on an idea by somebody else? Let us know.
Do you have some ideas for the treasure hunt? Let us know!
We're a bit less then 2 months away from the opening of CMSExpo, which mean we can accomplish a great deal during the remaining days, but we can't wait too long.
