WF-Links 1.05 Final has been released.
The Final version is the same as RC-6, no changes have been made.

WF-Links is a module for categorizing websites.
Websites can be added to multiple categories.

WF-Links can also function as a business directory.
For this it has the possibility to add a company's address (street, town, zip, telephone, map, etc.).

Address
The address for each country is defined in the file wflinks/functions/address.php.
Multiple address compositions per country are possible.
In the Submit form there's an optional street form (Street 2). If you want to use this you have to define this in address.php.
If the street or town is not entered the address will not be displayed.
It is possible to add an email address.
The email address will be stored in the database and displayed as: name AT email DOT com
This has been done to prevent spambots using your website as a source to harvest email addresses.
The email address will be displayed normally when downloading the address details with the vCard option.


Maps
There are 3 new fields which are meant for the url to a map from Google Maps, Yahoo Maps and Multimap.
Clicking a button will open the map site for checking and act as a shortcut.
For the correct Google url click 'Link to this page' (right top corner of map) and copy/paste the url from the top field ('Paste link in email or IM').
If you don't enter an url the button will not be displayed under the description.


Print
A Print-button has been added so everything can be printed. This includes the address and url.
Logo at top and footer can be set in Preferences.


Category sponsoring
A new feature is to place a sponsor (client) banner above a category.
First a client and banner have to be add in the systems Banner section.
In Category Management are 2 options for choosing the sponsoring:
1. by Client
2. by Banner ID
When option 1 is selected all banners of this client will be used in a rolating schedule.
With option 2 we can select a specific banner by its ID.
Note that option 1 overrules option 2.
If a logo has been selected in Index Page Management this will displayed above each category as before unless a sponsor has been selected for a category.

For this new feature a new block has been added for displaying the statistics of the sponsoring which is similar to that of the Banner Administration.

The sponsor option is based on the banner hack of Stefano Silvestrini aka slyss.


Auto Screeshots
This release of WF-Links contains an Auto Screenshot feature.
When this feature is switched on all screenshots are automatically generated based on the url of the Link.
It will overrule the standard screenshot feature of WF-Links.


Moving Links
The function to move all links from one category to another category works as follow:
1. In Main Index click Category Management
2. Choose source category and click Move Links
3. Choose destination category and click Move Links
NOTE: This action can't be undone!


impressCMS compatibility
WF-Links 1.05 Final is mainly developped using impressCMS 1.0 Final.
It supports ICMS multilanguage feature.
There are 3 three icons for impressCMS:
- the module icon for impressCMS (wfl_ilogo.png, 37x35 pixels)
- a Control Panel icon (wflinks_iconbig.png, 32x32 pixels)
- a Modules Menu icon (wflinks_iconsmall.png, 16x16 pixels)

The 'old' icon is still there. WF-Links 1.05 Final will detect what CMS is used (for backwards compatibility) and display the correct icon.

WF-Links 1.05 Final comes with the following language packs:
- dutch
- english
- german


Installing WF-Links 1.05 Final

Unzip/unrar the downloaded file.

First time install:
Upload the folder 'wflinks' to the folder 'modules' on your server.
Upload the folder 'images' to the folder 'uploads' on your server and check that the folder including sub-folders are CHMOD 777.
Go to the admin panel, choose Modules -> Administration and install WF-Links 1.3c as any other Xoops module.

Upgrade from WF-Links prior to version 1.05 RC5:
1. Make a backup of the WF-Links database tables and a backup from the folder ../modules/wflinks on your server.
2. Uninstall WF-Links.
3. Overwrite the files on your server with the new ones.
4. Install WF-Links.
5. Restore the database table from point 1.
6. Update WF-Links from the Modules Administration.

NOTE: All MS Live Maps entries will be erased when updating WF-Links.
