Profile management, is it different?
Based on the article released a while ago, we have looked into a socialized profile solution and merged the popular yogurt module into our profile module which is based on smartprofile.
Where do I get it?
You can download the latest release from our file release system on SourceForge.
Release Packages
Over the following weeks we will release a series of 'Alphas', these are for testing and not for use on a live production website. Alphas tend to be releases targeted at developers to test the code and get familiar with the new additions - but don't let this put you off because we welcome everyone to get involved.
Shortly after we've confirmed all the features are implemented we will then move into 'Beta' phase, during this time we would appreciate all users getting involved and reporting all the bugs found, remember that the quicker we get these reports, the quicker we can make the fixes, then move on the Release Candidate (RC) and then of course the 'Final' (Stable).
What else do I need?
With this release, we are moving farther into only supporting stable versions of PHP5. The current stable release of PHP is 5.2.8 and 5.2.7 has been removed from distribution because of several critical flaws.
- PHP: 5.2.0+(5.2.7 is NOT recommended!)
- MySQL: MySQL server 4.1.0+ - With UTF-8 Support
- Web server: Any server supporting the required PHP version (Apache highly recommended)
- Special characters require UTF-8 support from hosting providers.
- 16MB PHP Memory
How do I install it?
