Updated 1.2.4 releasePublished by Fiammybe on 2011/1/21 (3507 reads)
ImpressCMS 1.2.4 was released with a broken version of the core module 'Content'. The module wouldn't install correctly, and would not work at all. A quick fix was available on the forums, and would consist in using the version of the core module that was distributed with ImpressCMS 1.2.3.
We wanted to let you know that the problem has been solved now, and that the files released for ImpressCMS 1.2.4 should now work correctly.
We re-packaged the files available for ImpressCMS 1.2.4 on sourceforge, and they now contain the correct version of the Content module. We didn't change the version number, as nothing in the core had changed.
If you have a version of ImpressCMS already installed, you can download the latest version of the content module from the addons site.
The initial idea of the core module was to have some essential modules bundled with the core (at the moment, "profile" and "content"). Having them as dedicated, stand-alone modules would enable those modules to have a release schedule that was independant from the core release cycle.
